Introduction to Gender Aware Engineering Workshop and Presentation
We all like to think we're making engineering and business decisions in the best interest of our customers but the truth is bias creeps into decision making without noticing and can have significant impact on the bottom-line. This workshop provokes teams into considering how they might be bringing gender bias into decision making and potential impact on their business. It challenges teams to review the real decision making processes that happen in their system and encourages them to identify ways to remove unintended gender bias.

Gender Awareness Assessment
It's a fact women make up the majority of decision-makers for purchasing consumer goods. It’s also a fact that more women than men are on company payrolls today. But the majority of leadership positions in companies are held by men. Our Gender Awareness Assessment workshops help businesses identify gender blind spots and become more equitable workplaces. Our assessment is a systematic approach to reviewing different aspects of a business, including: organizational practices, leadership and culture, processes and practices, environment and situation, and customer engagement. Qualitative and quantitative methods, including leadership participatory evaluations, are used to generate insights that will enable leadership teams to address the findings for the success of the business.
